I’ve performed extensive testing on the Condor Mini Duku and it is fantastic.  I was skeptical about 1075 steel as some of the experiences I’ve had with it have been disappointing.  The Mini Duku stood up to everything we dished at it.  Seasoned hardwood was no match.  Some of the youtube reviewers refer to the Mini Duku as the ultimate “1 knife” bushknife.  I currently own over 10 different machetes and the Mini Duku is in the top 3.  I’ve also recently imported a custom made parang directly from Malaysia.  The Mini Duku by Condor is still superior.  One of those great buys!

Since it harnesses the strengths of the traditional Malaysian parang, Condor’s Mini Duku Parang utilizes the time-tested blade shape and supplements it with full-tang construction.

Its 1075 high carbon blade is coated with satin finished convex grinds and spine. Rich hardwood scales are fastened with pins and a barrel pin adds the option for lanyard attachment. Condor machetes are unsurpassed in the quality in their craftsmanship. All come with a sheath whether it be heavy duty leather or ballistic nylon. About the Designer

Joe Flowers is responsible for many of the interesting blade designs throughout the Condor product line. Joe writes for a myriad of magazines and publications, and contributes regularly to the outdoor community, concentrating in woodcraft and primitive living. His knowledge of outdoor gear led to consulting on equipment design and function for many companies. Joe holds a degree in Zoology with a minor in Entomology, and researches heavily into all things outdoors.

Joe Flowers teaches fitness, martial arts, organizes youth camps, and hosts outdoor skills and survival classes around the US. Joe is an avid naturalist, hunter, fisherman, herpetologist, videographer, beekeeper, knife thrower, guide, and regularly travels internationally in search of knife knowledge and unique animals. You can find Condor® on Joe’s side when he is deep in the Amazonian rain forest, or high in the deserts of Utah.
